Chris Guinn III
I am a lifetime resident of (what was) the best kept secret in the land, Portland Oregon. I became a licensed real estate agent in 1998 and have now been in the real estate business well over 20 years and I sometimes cannot believe it has been that long. I began in residential sales, then around year 10 decided to take on owning a brokerage with my friend Tracey and that is what became Dwell Realty. Not long afterward I decided to learn property management on my own and have built that business to what has become Dwell Property Management (PM) and our team manages over 200 doors of single family, multifamily and commercial doors, and growing! I also developed a commercial brand, Dwell Realty Commercial (DRCOMM) and our team of agents specializes in commercial real estate sales and leasing.
One thing I have learned since day one in this great career, the key to my success in this business is not the quantity of homes/ buildings sold, managed or dollars produced, success lies solely within the quality of the relationships I have built and nurtured over my 30 plus years in business. I have never met a stranger and the goal is to treat EVERYONE with respect while always acknowledging a person’s humanity… First! This is my guiding credo and the basis of my business and personal life and I value the very close knit group of family, friends and a large sphere of associates in this city and beyond. A natural love for people and the gregarious personality that I inherited from my lovely mother Ophelia Mae and awesome father Christopher Guinn Jr. keeps me stable and grounded in the things that matter most, people. My parents are gone now but I am thankful and grateful to have had them in my life.
Lastly, we are proud that the agents and staff at Dwell Realty, DRCOMM and Dwell PM were not “recruited” and made a choice to seek out and come to our brokerage. We have chosen to grow our agency organically and thus this has created a family-like atmosphere that we feel is unmatched. Our agents are allowed to thrive and grow independently, creating their own businesses, within and under the umbrella of Dwell Realty..without the ego. Thanks for reading my bio!

Christy Marshall
I have been a Real Estate Broker in Oregon for almost a decade, and I have combined my two most favorite interests: people and homes. My high standards of integrity and customer service create the long lasting relationships I build with my clients. They have come to expect an experience that embodies exceptional client care, expert industry knowledge, and a commitment to honesty in the home buying and selling process. After spending 10 years in the insurance industry, my knowledge of the sales contracts, time management, and teamwork, allows our clients to relax into the process of moving to a new home. We manage the details, every single time. Portland continues to delight me, as do the surrounding areas. Quite simply, I feel it is a great place to begin your home buying experience and a lovely place to raise a family. I was fortunate enough to grow up on the Westside of Portland, and I now live, work, and play in SW Portland with my own family.
I am active on my neighborhood association board, my Portland Public School PTA, and I am involved in many other SW Portland groups. I have the insider scoop on this place we call home! Showing others some of the secrets that the different neighborhoods hold are one of the joys in my career. I have helped clients purchase homes all over this city, having owned homes in NE and SW Portland.
I will work closely with you, and our team, to design a plan that best fits your circumstances. I believe in building a solid relationship with you, and I understand the importance of the ‘team attitude’ that leads you to the home you truly desire. It is the only way to do business in this small town! Exceeding expectations is easy when you love what you do.
When I am not selling real estate, you can find me running the trails, volunteering, camping, watching soccer, driving carpools, watching lacrosse, paddle boarding, or simply enjoying all of the outdoor activities this city provides myself and my family. Our two boys keep our family hopping and involved!
Our team works with your busy life to get this next move! Try us. You are going to like what happens.

Eric Holmes
I am a lifelong Oregonian. Love it here! My wife and I live in Lake Oswego with our three sons and I turned my passion for real estate into a full time career.
Real estate thrills me. I really enjoy the hunt for the perfect house. Opening doors for buyers is always exciting to see if this house could be the one! It is the thrill of the hunt, and the victory of getting my buyer into the house they have been hoping to find. There are so many ways to find a house, and I enjoy looking through old listings or reaching out to my network to see if we can’t find the perfect house that might not be on the market at the moment. I am able to use my relationships and the RMLS search tool to track the right one down.
Creatively finding the home is only the first step. Bringing buyers and sellers together is also a joy of mine. I enjoy making sure that sellers know that my buyers will take great care of their house for many more years to come. I like creative and collaborative solutions where both sides are getting what they need from the sale. I like people, homes, and Portland. The mix is somewhat unstoppable. I work with investors, first time buyers, move-up buyers, distressed sellers, and standard sellers. This broad spectrum of clients means I have seen it all.
Buying and selling homes can be stressful. However, I have an awful lot of fun making sure that the client does not worry about the process. I have that completely managed. Arming you with information and knowledge about what you can expect will only make this journey more comfortable. The client’s job is to be learning about your new neighborhood, new house, and how we will make this become a winning situation.
If you are in the market for a change of location, investment home, new lifestyle, or just curious about what is out there in your neighborhood, give me a call. Let’s go together! It is thrilling to open those doors and see what is inside.
When I’m not selling houses, you can find me on the soccer field, in a park with my kids, or enjoying family and friends on the front porch.

I’ve been working in real estate for over 15 years, but I am a proud generalist. I have also worked as a furniture builder, paralegal, musician, audio engineer, construction/developer, and software tech support. I have helped clients buy their dream condo in the center of the city, their rural farm to ride out the apocalypse, their first home using complicated grant programs, their commercial spaces, their multi-unit investments, and so on. Give me your challenge, even if the challenge is just “I want the nicest house for the least amount of money”.

Buying or selling your home is about more than just money – it’s about your dreams and aspirations. Being able to provide, to shelter, and feel safe. Sleeping soundly at night knowing that your financial decisions have put you on solid ground. I can get you there.
As a life-long resident of the Portland area, and licensed since 2004, I have the experience you need. With over a decade of service industry and management experience in some of Portland’s busiest restaurants, I have a proven ability to see all the details, anticipate problems, multitask like no other, and make sure everyone is happy in the end! For 3 years, I lived in Bombay, India where I learned to really think on my feet and adapt to a constantly changing environment. The real estate market can be crazy, sometimes feeling like stepping foot into a foreign country. It requires a clear, calm head and an ability to think creatively. Life has given me these skills.
Buying and selling can be a stressful, bumpy road. Let me be your guide to take some of the stress for you. You will be in good hands. I would be honored to take the journey with you!

Top 10 things I thought I would NEVER do:
1. Live in Oregon one mile from my childhood home
2. Enjoy cooking
3. Graduate from college (truly it was my parents that thought it would NEVER happen)
4. Cowgirl-up chasing a cow on horseback
5. Have a kid
6. Say all the same annoying things to my daughters that my parents said to me when I was a kid
7. Let my sister set me up on a blind date
8. Marry the blind date my sister set me up on
9. Have a poodle as a pet
10. Get my real estate license
Sometimes life surprises you with some unexpected twists and turns. My real estate career was one of those “surprises.” My father was actually the family Realtor and, after 15 years in real estate, decided to retire. My father informed my sister and me that we still needed a real estate license in the family. After a heated argument with my sister, which I lost, I ended up with the real estate license.
I inherited a mix of residential and commercial clients and dove in, actually waded in. It was 2008 and the real estate market was moving a bit slow. Despite my reluctance, after the first year, I realized how much I loved it. It’s never boring and I am always learning new things that keep me interested in showing up for work. I have had some other unexpected twists and turns in my life and, despite my reluctance, they have also turned out better than expected.
You may have said, I will NEVER…
move again, sell this house, buy this house, be a landlord, invest in real estate, start a business, move or sell my business, get a job transfer, need to down-size, need to up-size.
I can help you with those unexpected twists and turns and, despite your reluctance, it may turn out better than you expect!

One of my earlies memories was of raking leaves with my siblings. They were making piles to jump in and I was using them to make floorplans for the homes that I wanted to build or live in someday. Real estate has been in my blood for as long as I can remember and I know how important a home is, as an investment, a place to raise a family and to house those memories that will last a lifetime. I am committed to reliability, integrity and service to you in every detail of my real estate transactions. My passion is working closely with my clients to help you make a smooth transition into the next phase of your life by either selling your home for the best price, or in finding just the right home for you to buy. I’ve represented all levels of sellers, buyers and investors in residential and commercial markets in both Oregon and California. Repeat business and personal referrals are the foundation of my real estate practice, thanks to my wonderfully loyal clients, many of whom become long-term friends.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford and a MA/MFT in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. While my degrees may at first seem diverse, I believe that combined with my past experience as a marriage and family therapist, certified Oregon mediator, engineer, surveyor, and business coach, they seamlessly support my seventeen years of experience as a real estate broker.
I’m a wife, mother and stepmother of five, and a long-time resident homeowner in the Eastmoreland area of Portland, having owned several homes here over the past twenty-five years. My interests outside of real estate include sailing on my family’s 32-foot sailboat Forever, home remodeling, singing in the community choir, playing my ukulele and hammered dulcimer, silk painting and jewelry making. I look forward to those days when I can zip off to the market on my Vespa or cruise the bike trails on my electric bicycle!
If you have any questions about real estate, no matter how large or small, or are interested in buying or selling, please give me a call or send me an e-mail or text. I look forward to hearing from you!

Stefanie Otterson
I grew up in suburban SW Portland enjoying the outdoors and exploring my neighborhood on foot and on bike. Many of my childhood weekends were also spent at my Yia Yia’s (grandma in Greek) home, a 1926 bungalow in the Laurelhurst neighborhood. This, I feel, was a great balance. I learned to enjoy both the suburban and urban neighborhoods. Looking back I feel it was a perfect way to grow up.
I graduated from the University of Oregon, remained in Eugene and then began a six year career in real estate mortgage lending. While I enjoyed that, I wanted to expand my horizons. With a move back to Portland in the fall of 1999, I left my career in mortgage lending and started working for a few small start-up companies where I learned many essential skills required to run a small business. Although what those companies taught me was invaluable, I was left longing for a more fulfilling career, so I decided to take a leap of faith and re-start my work life with something I love.
In early 2004, I became a licensed Realtor in both Oregon and Washington and in December of 2016 I happily joined Dwell Realty. When I became a Realtor I never imagined it would have turned into such a rewarding career. I have truly found what I love to do.
When I moved back to Portland, I wanted to live in an urban neighborhood, so I purchased a small 1926 bungalow in North Portland which was in need of major remodeling. My friends and family asked me what in the world was I thinking when I chose this fixer. I said “Don’t worry. I have a plan.” With hard work, even more patience, a vision, and an open pocketbook, I have spent the last 17 years making this little “fixer” my home.
What my experience and love of real estate could mean to you, as either a buyer or a seller, is that I will be able to walk you through every step of the transaction process.
I take pride in providing my clients with the best possible service as well as attention to detail. I am proud to say that I earn my clients’ respect by working diligently for them and building a relationship based on trust and hard work. Being a native Portlander gives me the knowledge and unique insight of the city and the surrounding areas that will help you find just the right home as a buyer or get the right price for your home as a seller.
I would like to have the opportunity to meet with you.

Because I love Houses
And that’s exactly why I decided to change careers in 2005 from working with children in N and NE Portland for over 20 years, to Real Estate.
I am a true Oregonian, born and raised in Portland and have lived just about everywhere; from NE to Estacada to SE but mostly in NE. I went to Grant High, where my daughter also graduated from in 2012 and my son graduated with the class of 2017.
Being able to continue working with people and stay in the community is a big reason why I went from childcare to real estate. Real Estate has been a roller coaster for sure, but people get on roller coasters for the THRILL and FUN of it! Which is why I have stayed on it and even built it with more twists and turns.
In January 2009, Chris and I were lucky enough to be able to open Dwell Realty in Vanport Square and it has been so much fun. I feel privileged to have been able to stay in the real estate field and to start a successful real estate office, it’s just icing on the cake.
Thank you for visiting our site and let me know if I can help you get into the Real Estate “Roller Coaster”!
